Aubrieta Cascade Mixed (Aubrieta hybrida) is a low growing, evergreen perennial admired for its vibrant spring blooms in shades of purple, violet, pink, and lavender.

Forming a dense mat of foliage and flowers, this variety is perfect for rockeries, walls, borders, and ground cover bringing early season colour and pollinator appeal to any garden.


Thriving in well-drained, moderately fertile soil, Aubrieta Cascade Mixed flourishes in full sun and tolerates light shade. Its spreading habit makes it ideal for softening edges and cascading over stonework, while the nectar rich blooms attract bees and early pollinators.

Indoors:
Sow seeds thinly on the surface of fine seed compost from February to April. Lightly press seeds but do not cover, as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 15–18°C and keep the soil moist. Once seedlings are strong enough, prick out into individual pots and grow on until ready to plant outdoors.

Outdoors:
Transplant seedlings into a sunny or lightly shaded location with well-drained soil after the last frost. Space 30–45 cm apart. Mulch lightly and water during dry spells to encourage healthy growth and flowering.
