Step 1 - Sow indoors March to May, put 1 or 2 seeds, 1.5cm deep in pots of seed compost.
Step 2 - From late May, place them outside during the day to gradually acclimatise, then plant out 40cm apart.
Step 3 - Or sow outdoors in May, where they are to crop 1.5cm deep and 40cm apart. Sow 2 seeds per position.
Step 4 - Water regularly and keep moist. Harvest August to October.
