Pea Vivado

An outstanding variety producing a bumper crop of sweet tasting peas that are rich in protein, carbohydrate and fibre. Harvest May-September. W = Wrinkled seed. Sow in succession March-June. Allow 60-120cm (2-4') between rows. (12-14 weeks maturity).

Growing Information
Sow thinly into warm, moist soil prepared by digging and raking at a depth of 50mm (2") in flat drills 15cm (6") wide in two rows with seed approximately 5cm (2") apart. Allow 60cm (24") between further rows. Germination 7-10 days. Support plants with twiggy sticks or pea netting. Grows best in a sunny position in well cultivated soil containing plenty of well rotted manure or compost. Water well during dry weather to aid flower setting and pea formation. Sowing ? Allow 90cm (36") between further rows. Support plants with twiggy sticks or pea netting. Grows best in sunny position in well cultivated soil containing plenty of well-rotted manure or compost. Plants are heavy cropping if picked regularly. Pick small before peas bulge through the pods. Water well during dry weather to aid flower setting and pea formation.
