A vigorous ranbler, to 6m tall, with thorny stems and deciduous, broadly ovate, dark green, glossy leaves. Fragrant, single, white flowers, 6cm in width, with prominent yellow stamens, appear in summer followed by clusters of orange-red hips in autumn.Prefers an open sunny position. Dig in Organic Compost at Planting.
